Rockwell was born in New York and enrolled at The New York School of Art and the National Academy of Design aged 14. 3. Rockwell won his first commission just before his 16th Birthday. 4. Rockwell’s background was in the history of European art. 5. Rockwell’s career began in the ‘Golden Age of Illustration’. Rockwell was art director of Boy’s Life, the official magazine of the Boy Scouts. 6. This months’ newsletter starts with such exciting news. We are delighted to announce 2019’s exhibition with Cloud Gallery. “The Billion Dollar Exhibition circa 1593-1982” will be held between 29 May – 9 June 2019 in Westbourne Grove Notting Hill. The ‘pop up’ show will be nestled along side the fantastic antiques and interior design shops just off the famous Portobello Road London. The two-week exhibition will be showing new works and is the first Cloud Gallery show in London. I’m absolutely thrilled to be their first artist to exhibit for Clouds many shows this year.
